Our Inspiration

 

The inspiration behind stocking tinned seafood at The Last Supper comes from Monica, who stumbled upon a podcast with Saltie Girl in early 2023 that featured a chain of restaurants in the USA and London offering over 160 varieties of tinned seafood on their menu. Fascinated by the sheer diversity and quality of these products, Monica was prompted to dive deeper into the world of tinned seafood, quickly becoming obsessed with its history, craftsmanship, and unique flavours.

One of the greatest things about tinned seafood is its versatility. Just pop open the lid and enjoy them on fresh bread or crackers, along with a side of olives or pickles. They’re ideal for quick snacks, casual tapas, or even more refined spreads for entertaining guests.
